Who We Are

My Summer Todo is a mobile app for Android, created by an independent developer. It is designed for children aged 9–12 as a fun summer bucket-list and achievements tracker.

What Data We Collect

We collect no personal information.

The app works completely offline. It does not require an account, a sign-in, or an internet connection. We do not operate any servers that receive data from your device.

The app stores the following information only on your device:

• The child's chosen display name (entered by the child during first setup)
• The chosen list title (e.g. "My Cool Summer 2026")
• The list of summer tasks created by the child
• Completed tasks and the star count earned
• The currently selected app theme and avatar
• Whether the premium content pack has been purchased

None of this information ever leaves the device. It is never sent to the developer, to any analytics service, to any advertising network, or to any other third party.

Android Auto-Backup

Android automatically backs up app data to the user's own Google account as part of the standard Android backup service (controlled by the user's device backup settings). This backup includes the child's name, list, and progress — so data is restored when the child gets a new phone. The backup is made to the user's own Google account and is not accessible to the developer.

The premium purchase status is excluded from backup intentionally — it is restored via Google Play's own purchase history instead.

In-App Purchases

The app offers a one-time optional in-app purchase ("Unlock Everything", approximately $2.99) processed entirely by Google Play. The developer does not receive any payment card information or personal data related to purchases. Google's own privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.

No Advertising

The app contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs.

No Analytics

The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. No usage data is collected.

Children's Privacy

This app is designed for children aged 9–12. In the spirit of COPPA (US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR-K (EU rules on children's data):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
• No data leaves the device.
• No account or registration is required.
• There is no social or sharing feature.

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. If you wish to remove all app data, simply uninstall the app from the device. This permanently erases all locally stored information (tasks, name, progress).

Changes to This Policy

If the app is updated in a way that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app's Play Store update description.
